Go to your local post office and intimate them about your imminent move. Fill in the form with the new address in it. It is a good idea to send informal greeting cards to your relatives intimating on the new move.
Make an inventory of the stuff which you actually want to move. Some of the stuff might be useless for you in the new place.
You can either sell of this stuff or donate it to a charity.
Now make a fresh inventory.
Tell your kids about the move. Make them participate in the whole process. Inform them about the new place and the advantages of going there.
